June 15 - Parlando's Broadway in Boulder Studios follows up its 2009 sell-out run of "Secret Garden" with the Dramatic Musical "Grand Hotel." Based on the 1929 Vicki Baum novel and play, Menschen im Hotel (People in a Hotel), and the subsequent 1932 MGM feature film, the musical focuses on events taking place over the course of a weekend in an elegant hotel in 1928 Berlin and the intersecting stories of the eccentric guests of the hotel, including a fading prima ballerina; a fatally ill Jewish bookkeeper, who wants to spend his final days living in luxury; a young, handsome, but destitute Baron; a cynical doctor; and a typist dreaming of Hollywood success.

April 1 - On April 10 and 11th, we will host guest artist and Broadway star David Burnham for master classes and a public performance.Burnham who most recently starred as Fiyero in Wicked, brings his talent to Boulder as part of the pre-professional training offered to Parlando's students. Burnham's visit will culminate in a concert for the public on Sunday April 11 at the Dairy Center for the Arts, where he will be joined on stage by the cast of Grand Hotel. Beginning at 7:30pm, the concert will feature solos, small group performances and large ensemble works. Suggested donation $5.00 at the door. March 15 - Parlando School for the Arts Voice and Theatrical Division: Broadway in Boulder Studios would like to congratulate our very own Jordana Grolnick! Jordana has been accepted into three of the top BFA Musical Theater Programs in the United States: University of Michigan, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and Syracuse University. When asked about her experience auditioning for these competitive programs, Jordana said, “David and Angela are the reason I was able to get through it all. They all helped me prepare for this stressful process. They have taught me more then just how to sing and act. They’ve taught me how to have a successful audition and how to really show who I am in the audition process.”

On March 7 Parlando's Broadway in Boulder Studios Director and Broadway's own Cinderella, Angela Gaylor will be performing as Cinderella at Cinderella's Ball.
It will be a fun filled afternoon of Ballroom Dancing, face-painting, royal refreshments, a silent auction and even a magical surprise!
