November 1 - Looking for a singing group for your young student? Parlando's Allegro! Singers will be starting up shortly after the holidays. Find out more about its teacher, Kristin Van Sickle on our website.
October 15 - Come hear all sorts of instruments at our Halloween recitals on October 30. There are 3 performances by Parlando students at 12:00, 1:30, and 3:00. Hope to see you there!
September 15 - Two of our Early Childhood Classes are still accepting students. First is Musical Mornings, which is a violin/piano group class for students age 3-kindergarten. This two hour class exposes students to musical games, rhythm, dancing and playing both violin and piano. It's a great way to get kids who are interested in music exposure to many different aspects of music!
The second class is our Music Safari class. Based on our popular summertime offering, this preschool age class will be offered at our satellite location, Bixby School in South Boulder. Each 30 minute class involves dancing and singing with introductions to many instruments.

August 1 - Parlando's Summer Safari Class for ages 4-7 still has a few spots left for the last session. This session takes place at one of our satellite locations, the Bixby School in south Boulder. May 15 - Gearing up for summer? It is a great time to introduce your children to new music. Some great tunes to look up include "Peer Gynt Suite: In the Hall of the Mountain King" and "Overture to Candide." They are great masterpieces of music that preschoolers love to dance to.

April 15 - Parlando held its annual Merit Scholarship and Honors Recital Auditions this past weekend. The caliber of performances was extremely high and the competition was exceptional. The winners from Saturday's day long competition were invited to play in a free Honors Recital which will be held on April 24 at 3:30 pm at Baker's Piano Center (located at 3111 Walnut Street, Boulder CO 80301). The following day, Sunday, April 25 we will continue with free Faculty Recital at Bakers Piano Center at 1:00 pm. Both recitals are free and open to the public. Come join us for this Weekend Recital Festival!!
April 1 - Our new class Musical Mornings for Toddlers will be starting after spring break. This parent toddler music class will employ games, singing and loads of fun to help parents introduce music to their child's life. Spots are still available and you can sign up online.

March 1 - The Early Childhood Division will be adding another fun class in this spring. Madelyn Clair will be teaching the "Ice Cream Social Singers" for ages 4-7. This class will meet on Saturdays and the children will learn songs and perform at retirement communities. They will bring ice cream to the senior citizens to enjoy an "ice cream social" after the concert. This format combines Parlando's mission of learning music and sharing with the community.
