Registration Fee.
A $24 registration fee per individual or $48 per family will be added to the invoice in September. The registration fee will
be pro-rated for new students beginning at any other time of year. Registration fee and music lesson fee include:
• An orientation session with the Executive Director and/or Program Director to discuss individual goals and teacher
placement for lessons or appropriate level for class placement.
• Regular evaluation of student development through written progress reports (fall and spring).
• Performance opportunities at the Parlando School for the Arts and in the community (monthly student recitals, adult
student soirees and more).
• Student rate subscription to SmartMusic under Parlando’s school subscription - a 75% savings. See
www.smartmusic.com for more information. (Required school code is available from the office).
• Discounts to Artist Encounters, Faculty Performances, and Boulder Philharmonic concerts.
For the best, well-rounded musical training, we recommend that students take one or more of the following to supplement
their private lessons: Music Theory, Performance Class, Ensemble, Keyboard Skills
Music Lesson payment options and guidelines. Individual and group lessons on all instruments and voice continue year round. New students may begin lessons at any
time. Weekly private lessons are 30, 45 or 60 minutes long. Group lessons are also available as “duet lessons” or “trio
lessons” when students are matched by level and rate of progress. New students may enroll at any time by calling the
office and scheduling an appointment (in person or over the phone) with the Program Director for appropriate placement
in lessons and classes. Priority placement will be given to continuing students in good standing. Tuition is prorated for
new students who begin after the term has begun. Standard lesson rates for 2007-08 are as follows with Fall Semester
being 16 weeks and Spring Semester 19 weeks.
