Music classes for Kids

Parlando offers music and arts education for young children in Boulder County as young as two years old. Just as with any language, the universal language of music and the arts is best learned early. From our "Young Mozarts" class for toddlers to our "Musical Morning" class for Preschoolers to our "Kids N Keys" series, you can start your child at an early yet developmentally appropriate level at Parlando.

Group Class Information
Because group lessons and classes are enrollment based activities, no refunds or credits will be given for participants who drop out or miss classes. For more detailed information about classes including descriptions, please visit parlando.org.

  • Musical Mornings and Allegretto Singers (ages 3-6)
    Musical Mornings is an exploratory class which focuses on movement and rhythm through violin and piano study. Each class includes group Suzuki based violin which prepares students to take private violin lessons in the future. Students will also explore the piano through the Music for Little Mozarts method books in preparation for our KidsNKeys program or private lessons. At the end of each semester there is an informal performance for friends and family. This is an exploratory intro class for students who have shown interest in violin or piano but are not sure if they would like to commit to taking private lessons. Keyboards are provided at class time for no charge; violin rental is additional.

Young Mozarts (ages 2-5)
Young Mozarts is a parent/child music class for young children ages 2 through 5.  Every class includes singing, movement, instrument exploration, listening skill development, rhythm study and most classes include an art project.  This class is designed to be hands-on, engaging and fun for children and their parents.
Instructor: Travis LaBerge – Founder of Parlando and a teacher with more than 12 years of experience teaching preschool music.
